Hans Gerritse - Guitars, backing vocals

Born 22th of March 1967. After classical guitar lessons from the age of six, Hans was fed up destroying timeless tunes. He refound some interest when his parents bought him an electric guitar and amp. When he was asked for the local school band he practiced a lot and tried to imitate his favourite guitarists. Not one song in his record collection remained unplayed especially the Camel and Genesis songs were thoroughly dissected and analyzed. Hans searched for a mix between the sound and

bluesiness of Latimer and the strange distant playing of Hackett. Of course this would never work out, so he ended up with his own sound and style. Other influences are Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Pink Floyd and more recently Tool, Porcupine Tree, Spock's Beard and Transatlantic.
Hans recorded the album Somateria Spectabilis with keyboard player and producer Derk-Evert Waalkens under the name of
King Eider, and he is part of the band The Sunday Goose.
